Christopher Robert Evans is a well-known American actor. His career began with roles in television series, including Opposite Sex in 2000. Following appearances in several teen films including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he gained attention for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans has continued to be featured in movies based on graphic novels and comics: TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2013). As part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he gained more recognition for his role as Steve Rogers/Captain American. This includes Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 as well as Captain America: Civil War. He also made an appearance as Captain America in The Avengers Age of Ultron 2015 Avengers: Infinity War 2018 and Endgame 2019. The work he did on the Marvel series helped establish him as one of the top-paid actors.
