Her condition became severe and she suffered organ failure including kidneys which did not heal. Her condition forced her to alter her lifestyle around hemodialysis then peritoneal dialysate. She finally returned home after 80 days of hospitalization, after a time when she was close to death, and began the long road back to health. Her life had been forever altered. Angelica was on dialysis for over a decade half of that time before she was able to undergo an organ transplant. Angelica's mom was the only one who could donate a kidney. Angelica Hale, along with her mother had the transplant of a kidney at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta as well as Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston on September 13th, 2013. Angelica Hale has been pursuing her dreams of being a star ever since.
